Why do Chinese/southeast Asians always claim they have the same blood as the Japanese/Korean?

This may be because Mongolia, during the 13th century, expanded its sway across Asia. Mongolian warriors had many children in Korea and probably Japan as well. Even today Korean babies are born with blue spots on their back sides; the same blue spots show up on Mongolian baby bottoms. Mongolians call this "khukh tolboton."
