Is it possible to drop a 350 into a geo tracker?

buying a friends 97 geo tracker to get me through the new england winter. i do want to build it up to go offroading and was curious about a motor swap to get more oomph on road. is there a way to stuff a 350 in it? these are pretty cheap to get and build and it would be so bad @ss
