Hamster fell on floor; walking lopsided! Help!?

My hamster was a little sleepy and was on my shoulder. He fell from my shoulder and hit the wood floor, pretty hard. For a few seconds, he looked like he had died or was going to because he was rarely blinking. He started to bite me when I held him, and I put him down to check for broken bones. He walked lopsided, falling over, looking like he broke his left front paw. He's sleeping soundly right now, about two minutes afterward. There were no signs of blood except for a tiny spot on the top corner of his nose (from his point of view, left), but it subsided immediately. My mom thinks he'll die, but he's only a year old! He's an adorable golden hamster and I love him a lot. I hope he won't die, but what do you think I should do?! HELP!!
