Why does everyone get so upset about people liking Owl City?

Yeah, Owl City annoys the life out of me. Sounds like you're hanging out with music snobs: people who believe they're all cutting edge because they don't listen to the top 40. Who has that much time?! Seriously! I listen to the radio in the car, so top 40 is on. I don't sit in my basement listening to obscure music. Seems like such a waste of time!
