Can you give me some information about the English Navy during the rule of Elizabeth 1?

During the time of the Spanish Armada England had no standing navy just a band of essentially pirates. The Winds on the English Channel being the most significant in the Spanish Armada by forcing the Spanish to Anchor which the English Could then maneuver the few ships they had to win the battle. After that England entered a golden age of wealth and eventually developed a strong navy.
